About This Project
This kitchen was straight out of the 70’s, down to the roll away dishwasher. While the dishwasher certainly was useful, it was a bit inconvenient and cumbersome. This client loves to cook and needed better storage solutions and more counter space. The space needed to remain as a galley kitchen as that was all the space that was available, however we were able to elevate this space with the materials and appliances that were selected. The oven/micro combo allowed for the client to have the gas cooktop they always wanted and helped to balance out the fridge in the corner, creating a food storage, prep, and cooking area. The other side of the kitchen allowed for ample counter space, built in trash and recycling and built in dishwasher. The client was more than happy to say goodbye to the rollaway monstrosity that took up much needed floor space. We paired this with lovely LVP flooring that was neutral, timeless, and helps to warm up the space.
