About This Project
This facility is geared towards individuals that are affected by dementia or Alzheimer’s. Each facility only houses up to 10 individuals on a full-time basis with around the clock professional staff. The thought was having a “home” setting would be most beneficial for the patient to make the transition as easy and comfortable as possible. I was not the main designer on this project, however, I worked next to the lead designer for all the material selections. There were very specific parameters that we needed to work within when making selections. The fist facility was such a hit that the available rooms were purchased and spoken for before construction was even completed. There are more of these facilities in the greater Indianapolis area with all the same material selections.
